ADDITIONAL GRANT SUPPORT TO THE DISABLED AND DISADVANTAGED PARTICIPANTS

Erasmus+ Program encourages the participation of the people with special needs in the program. A person with special needs is a potential participant whose personal physical condition, mental state or health condition does not allow them to participate in the project/mobility activity unless there is additional financial support. In order to provide additional grants to students and staff who need inclusion support, our University will request additional grants from the Center. After the participant with the Inclusion Support is selected, if the participant has an additional grant request, the approximate additional costs are determined and additional grants are requested from the Center.

The application form needs to explain why Inclusion Support is needed, to attach supporting documents (for example, if Inclusion Support is disability related, doctor's report (not older than 3 months) or copy of disability card, doctor's report for chronic diseases) containing information on disability and its level. Documents containing the knowledge that the student/staff to be hosted by the partner university are aware of the fact that they are a participant in need of Inclusion Support and their commitment to have the appropriate equipment are attached to the form. The requested additional grant amounts and why they are needed should be shown in detail on the form as requested. The requested grant must be directly related to the purpose of enabling the Inclusion Support participant to participate in the activity.
