Only off-campus accommodation in IKU dormitories is offered. Students are free to look for other accommodation.
There are 3 types of dormitories; double room, triple room and quad room.
Meals are not included in the dormitory fees however students can benefit from the free breakfast service.
Full annual/semester fee will be paid for reservation before arrival at IKU.
The dormitory is a 10-minute walk from Ataköy Main Campus. In addition, students are provided with a shuttle service, and public transportation is easily accessible from the dormitory.

* Please bear in mind that dormitories may not be offered for every single student because of the quota limitation.
* IKU does not take any responsibility to arrange accommodation for students who wish to reside other dormitories. Students who are interested in private accommodation should make their own arrangements.
IKU DORMITORIES
Our comfortable dormitories provide safe and reliable conditions for students during the education period.
• İKÜ Girls Dormitory with a total capacity of 211, and Boys Dormitory with a total capacity of 148; feature 2, 3 and 4 person rooms both of which contain bathrooms,
• toilets (24 hours hot water available), beds, duvets, pillows, wardrobes, desks, air conditioning and wireless internet. The Girls Dormitory rooms additionally have mini fridges and bedside tables.
• Dormitories will provide 24 hours of vital services such as hot running water and contain lounges for recreational use, study rooms, laundry and ironing rooms that are free of charge.
• Each dormitory has its own drawing rooms for architects, internet halls, cafeteria (in separate building in Boys Dormitory) serving breakfast and dinner.
• All dormitories have 24/7 security. Entrance and exits are made from turnstiles with ID card. Dormitory check-in time is no later than 00.00 on weekdays and 01.00 on weekends.
• Students can freely benefit from IKU’s Health, Culture and Sports Department from doctors and psychologists.
Here are the documents you have to submit in order to register:
• Your Application Form,
• A photocopy of your Foreigner ID, or Passport,
• An IKU Student Certificate (to be received after registration,
• Criminal Record Certificate (to be received from the local authorities and translated into Turkish);
• 3 Biometric Photos;
• And an official Health Certificate; specifically mentioning your eligibility for staying in dormitories.
