***The signing process of the annual contribution agreement between Turkey and the European Commission is still ongoing. Therefore, the announced grant amounts are temporary and subject to change after the completion of the signing process. The European Commission, Turkey National Agency, and Istanbul Kültür University International Office cannot be held responsible for any delays in the official procedures related to the contribution agreement or any subsequent grant amounts changes, leading to material or moral losses.

• In order to benefit the maximum number of our students from the allocated grant, students participating in a single academic term mobility can receive funding for a maximum of 4 MONTHS, while students participating in two academic terms (1 year) mobility can receive funding for a maximum of 8 MONTHS.
• Students who wish to withdraw their mobility must submit their withdrawal petitions to the International Office by 08.08.2023 at the latest. Students who waive their rights after 08.08.2023 will have a deduction of 10 points in their next Erasmus applications.

(!) Participants who require a visa/confirmation letter should request it with their Acceptance Letter via email from International Office.

FOR THE FOLLOWING PROCESS:

• Students who obtain their visas must upload their departure documents in PDF format to the "Documents" section on exchangeprogram.iku.edu.tr before starting their mobility. Afterward, they need to make an appointment with the International Office by clicking here and coming to sign the grant agreement in person. The required departure documents are as follows:

             (i)      Acceptance Letter
             (ii)     Learning Agreement (Before Mobility)
                      All signatures on the Learning Agreement must be completed.
             (iii)   Travel Health Insurance
             (iv)    Passport Copy
             (v)     Visa Copy
             (vi)    İş Bank Euro Account Statement Copy

NOTE: Participants who undertake mobility without signing the grant agreement will not be evaluated within the scope of Erasmus.

• Grant payments are made in two installments. 80% of the total estimated amount will be paid within a maximum of 30 days after the signing of the Grant Agreement. The final amount after the mobility will be re-calculated considering the participation certificate and (if necessary) passport entry-exit stamps and the difference between the initial payment and the final amount will be paid as the second installment.
