***The signature process of the annual contribution agreement between Turkey and the European Commission is still ongoing. Therefore, the announced grant amounts are temporary and subject to change after the completion of the signature process. The European Commission, Turkish National Agency, and Istanbul Kültür University International Relations Office cannot be held responsible for any delays or subsequent changes in grant amounts that may occur during the official procedures related to the contribution agreement, leading to financial or non-financial losses.

- In order to benefit as many of our students as possible from the allocated grant, all students have been awarded grants for a maximum duration of 2 MONTHS based on their Erasmus Points.
- Students who wish to withdraw their mobility must submit their withdrawal petition to the International Office by no later than August 11, 2023. Students who waive their grant after August 11, 2023, will receive a deduction of 10 points in their next Erasmus applications.
- Participants who need a grant/confirmation letter for visa procedures can obtain their letters by following the steps in the Visa Letter Obtaining Guide.
FOLLOWING PROCEDURES:
Students who have obtained their visas must upload their documents to the "Documents" section on exchangeprogram.iku.edu.tr in PDF format before starting their mobility and then make an appointment with the International Office by clicking here to sign the grant agreement. The required travel documents are as follows:
(i) Letter of Acceptance
(ii) Traineeship Agreement (Before Mobility)
The Traineeship Agreement must have all signatures completed.
(iii) Travel Health Insurance
The Travel Health Insurance must cover all the specified features below. If any of the mentioned proviso are missing, the participant's insurance document will not be accepted, and they will need to obtain a new insurance policy.
- It must cover the entire mobility period.
- It must include inpatient treatment.
- It must cover accidents and liability.
- It must cover funeral expenses.
- It must have coverage up to €30,000.
(iv) Passport Copy
(v) Visa Copy
(vi) İş Bank Euro Account Statement Copy
NOTE: Participants who conduct their mobility without signing the grant agreement will not be considered under the Erasmus program.
- Grant payments are made in two installments. 80% of the total amount will be paid within a maximum of 30 days after the signing of the Grant Agreement. The total final payment amount will be recalculated after the activity considering the participation certificate and (if necessary) passport entry-exit dates, and the difference between the initial payment and the recalculated amount will be paid as the second installment.
