Registration and Admission

Documents Required for Application

Associate/Undergraduate:
High school diploma, transcript, passport, residence permit (if applicable), blue card (if applicable), language proficiency certificate (if applicable), exam results document (if applicable).

Documents Required for Final Registration:

  1. Original High School Diploma (interim graduation certificate for newly graduated students whose diplomas have not been prepared by the registration date), an English or Turkish translation obtained from a certified translation bureau if the high school diploma is not in English
  2. An "Equivalence Certificate," which shows the equivalency of the diploma to those received from Turkish high schools, to be received from the T.R. Ministry of National Education or Turkish Embassies or Consulates in the country of residence (not required from graduates of high schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education)
  3. A transcript certified by the high school administration showing the grades and courses the candidate has taken in high school and an English or Turkish translation obtained from a certified translation bureau if the official document is not in English (not required from graduates of high schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education)
  4.  An original exam results document or a copy approved by a notary public in the country of residence or by Turkish Foreign Representatives (if applicable)
  5. A photocopy of pages showing the passport credentials and validity (an English or Turkish translation is to be obtained from a certified translation bureau if the passport information is not in English),
  6. A "Student Visa" to be obtained from Turkish Foreign Representatives (for foreigners living in Turkey, a student certificate to be obtained from our university and a copy of the student residence permit to be obtained from the Foreigners Branch; this is not required for students with Turkish nationality)
  7. Some countries have visa exemption.

  9. A residence permit (must be submitted to the registrar's office within a month from the registration date, not required for students with Turkish nationality)
  10. Health Insurance (taken out in Turkey, not required for students with Turkish nationality)
  11. An internationally recognized original Foreign Language or Turkish Proficiency document approved by the Turkish Embassy or Consulate in the country of residence (if applicable)
  12. A bank receipt showing that the contribution has been deposited.
  13. Seven passport photos

Documents required for final registration:

  2. A transcript certified by the university administration showing the grades and courses the candidate has taken in university and a copy of the Turkish translation approved by a notary public in the country of residence or by Turkish Foreign Representatives if the official document is not in Turkish,
  3. A Turkish translation of pages showing passport credentials and validity
  4. A "Student Visa" to be obtained from Turkish Foreign Representatives (student certificate to be obtained from our university and a copy of a new residence permit for study from the Foreigners Branch for foreigners living in Turkey)

PhD

Documents required for application: a postgraduate diploma, transcript, passport, residence permit (if applicable), blue card (if applicable), reference letter, language proficiency certificate, exam results certificate (if applicable), Turkish proficiency certificate (if applicable)

Documents Required for Registration:

  1. A postgraduate diploma (if the document is not in English, its Turkish translation will be required, and during registration, its Turkish translation by a certified translator will be required)
  2. A postgraduate transcript (if the document is not in English, its Turkish translation will be required during registration)
  3. A passport (a Turkish translation will be required during registration)
  4. A reference letter (if requested by the department)
  5. A language proficiency certificate (it should meet language competencies that YÖK (the Council of Higher Education) has determined for a language other than the student’ own mother tongue; if the student has received 66 points on TOEFL IBT, which is equivalent to a minimum of 55 points on the YDS or a language proficiency certificate from other languages in the table that can be reached from the link below)

A recognition certificate (the certificate of recognition that shows the university of graduate study is recognized by YÖK; if the student applies to our university, the Rector's Office of our University may submit an information request to YÖK regarding the recognition of the relevant university)
  7. A Turkish Proficiency Certificate (if applicable)
