Green travel refers to travel carried out using low-carbon-emission means of public transportation. Bus, train, and carpooling are considered green travel.

To receive green travel support, green travel must be used for both the outbound and return journeys, and more than half of the total distance travelled in kilometres must be covered using green means of transport.

*As a general rule, for distances below 500 km, travel should be carried out using low-emission means of transport.

  • Payments are made in two instalments: 80% of the total grant before departure and 20% after return. A maximum of 5+2 days of grant support is provided for Staff Mobility.
  • Participants may carry out their Erasmus activity using their own financial resources.
  • Participants may decline financial support if they wish.

GRANT QUOTAS

INCLUSION SUPPORT

The Erasmus+ Programme encourages the participation of individuals with special needs. A person with special needs is a potential participant whose personal physical, mental, or health condition prevents them from participating in the project/mobility activity without additional financial support.

In order to provide additional grants to students and staff members requiring inclusion support, the beneficiary higher education institution must request additional grant funding from the Centre. Once a participant requiring inclusion support has been selected, if the participant requests additional funding, the approximate additional costs are determined and an additional grant is requested from the Centre.

Zero-Grant Participation

Staff members may participate in mobility without receiving a grant. In such cases, applications must still be submitted and evaluated alongside funded applications. The only difference is that zero-grant staff are excluded from budget allocations and receive no payment. Hibe alınmaması, personelin seçim sürecine dâhil olmamasına gerekçe değildir.
