Problems related to Corona Virus are closely followed by the International Office. In this context, if you have some concerns and unrest, you can return back to Turkey (if you want) under the conditions stated by the National Agency:

“Corona virus will be considered as a justified reason to return to Turkey and to finish your mobility in Italy or in infected country. Even if you stay below the minimum period, the grant payment can be made as long as you stay. Some of universities are closed and in holiday officially. You can return to Turkey in official holiday context. For the students who do not want to finish their mobility completely, when the public holiday ends and schools are opened, they can return back to affected country. If the Erasmus budget permits, the university will be able to grant its students a daily grant for this break (holiday) period.”

Although we do not have a definitive statement on academic subjects if you return (if you are allowed to choose your courses, you will need to contact your department about the courses and exams you missed), we will try to do our best to help that you choose your courses or freeze your registration.

However, if you are in a safe area recommended by health institutions, you should not travel much. It is recommended not to be in crowded meetings and environments where you will be in contact with many people. You can see the attached brochure about the detailed measures.
